Running late for a session?

Spaces for our training sessions are always in high demand. If you are running late please get in touch with us on 020 7862 5790 to let us know. If you don't turn up on time we will assume you aren't coming and may offer your space to another student.

Arriving in London late?

It is strongly recommended that you attend the training sessions in the Autumn term, especially if you are new to the library, to law or to using legal databases. If you can't make the training due to late arrival in London, please get in touch and we can give you a brief run through of what you need to know to use the library effectively.

In the Spring term we offer training for those who missed out in the Autumn. In addition, one-to-one training sessions are available in the Spring and Summer terms. If in doubt, just ask!

Library tours

If possible, we would strongly encourage you to attend one of the organised library tours in the Autumn term. However if you are arriving late, or are making a trip to use the IALS Library at another time of year, then please get in touch so that we can arrange to provide you with a tour of the library. Visiting fellows, researchers, PhD students and law librarians from across the UK and overseas are more than welcome to come on a tour. Don't hesitate to get in touch.
