The Cardiff Index to Legal Abbreviations allows users to look up the meanings of abbreviations for English-language legal publications, or to look up a title to find out what its abbreviations are. It is run by information services staff at Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd.
Coverage
The index covers English-language law reports and law journals and some other law material, from the UK, Ireland, the United States and other common law jurisdictions, including international and comparative law titles. It also covers selected foreign-language titles.
For each publication, it gives the title, preferred abbreviation, alternative abbreviations, jurisdiction, publication dates, ISSN, and any title changes.

The index can be searched by abbreviation or title.
