The EBSCOhost platform complies with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and provides the majority of its indexed and full text content in accessible formats, including HTML, EPUB, and PDF.
There is a built-in Text-to-Speech function available via EBSCOhost for full text articles in HTML format (such as via Academic Search Complete database). Where this is available, a button labelled ‘Listen’ will be displayed above the HTML text. There are options to change the reading speed and highlighting/scrolling of text, and the audio can be downloaded as an MP3 file.
