This part of the guide suggests how you can find out about upcoming legal events.
If there a key organisation in your area of research, make sure you subscribe to its mailing list and join its social media platforms. This is a very good way of letting yourself be informed about relevant upcoming events.
The IALS calendar of forthcoming events can be viewed at http://ials.sas.ac.uk/events.
If the organisation doesn't have a social media presence, you can either check their website regularly for details of new events, or set up a web page monitoring alert, as described in the introduction to this guide.

The Conference Alerts website lists upcoming conferences by discipline. It is possible to subscribe to the website and set-up an events email alert based on keywords of your choosing. You can also limit the alerts only events taking place in specific countries.
